Terms and Conditions
Bookings normally accepted by e-mail. If the booking is made more than six weeks before the stay, the guest will be asked to pay a deposit of half of the full amount due, to confirm the booking and to settle the remaining amount four weeks before the stay. If the booking is made less than four weeks before the stay, then full payment is due immediately upon booking.
On making a booking, the guest will be asked to provide their full name and address, as well as a contact telephone number and information on the number of people in the party.
The guest is asked to notify the owner of any cancellation as early as possible. If the owner succeeds in obtaining a replacement booking for the one cancelled, then the guest will be refunded. If no replacement booking is made, then no refund will be possible.
The owner reserves the right to cancel a booking for reasons beyond her control, such as unforeseen damage to the cottage, failure of the heating system, etc. Under these circumstances all money paid by the guest in connection with the booking will be refunded.
Access to Cottage:
Upon receipt of full payment, the owner will send the guest information on how to access the key to the cottage. The cottage will be available for the guest from 4pm on the first day of the booked period. The guest is kindly asked to vacate the cottage by 10am on the day of departure.
Condition of Property:
The owner will ensure that the property is properly cleaned prior to the guest's arrival.
The guest undertaked to leave the property and its contents in the same condition as at the commencement of the holiday and to leave the cottage in the same state of cleanliness in which it was found. The owner of the property should be compensated for any damage and breakages which may occur. The owner reserves the right to invoice the guest for any extra cleaning or repair work the guest causes.
